Growing up in Minnesota, I developed a love for our beautiful lakes and the aquatic life within them. I started fishing at a young age by going for regular trips “up North” to our family’s cabin. My love of fishing has turned into a passion, and sometimes a bit of an obsession, as I now regularly fish tournaments, promote fishing products, and offer guide services to help others experience this wonderful sport.
I am pursuing a career in the fishing industry and currently fish local tournaments in the Midwest including Fishers of Men, Viking Bassmasters, and Team Bass. I would like to fish the BASS Elite Series or the FLW Tour to qualify for the Bassmaster Classic or Forrest Wood Cup.
Besides fishing knowledge and wisdom, a successful fisherman also uses quality products to improve his or her game. Because of this, I am very interested in products that are made to enhance or improve the fishing experience. When I find great products, I naturally share them with others through word-of-mouth, promotional-spot advertising, wearing and displaying logos, creating media to showcase the products, and 
other methods. I enjoy supporting my sponsors on and off the water and I am always looking to help promote others in the fishing industry.
Currently I work at Simply Fishing Extreme Marine in Wyoming, Minnesota. I am in charge of sales and marketing and enjoy helping anglers find their “Dream Boat”. Currently we carry the Tuffy and Legend boat lines and are a fully authorized Mercury and Evinrude dealer. I run our weekly bass tournament league that attracts many local anglers.
I have a great family that supports what I do. Without them, none of this would be possible. I have been married to my wife Ronnie since 1999 and we have two wonderful children. Jenna and Marcus. Of course, my whole family loves to fish!
